In our groups we were asked to choose one of the typefaces we liked best and explain our reasons. I chose Ribbon as it is my favourite font and I particularly like the enlarged stems for example on the 'b'. Putting our letters in the center of our table we were then given the task of merging all of them together to create a separate hybrid type.
It was a very different task and it was quite difficult trying to get all the features onto one letter. The table was split into two, one group designing an uppercase version and the other the lowercase.
The fonts we had in our group were Ribbon, Lucida Black Letter, Century Gothic, Cyclone, Stencil, Futura Bold, Amarta and Willow.
In the end we decided on our typeface and named it Gothura:

We had to describe our typeface in 5 words:
- Disconnected
- Elegant
- Playful
- Gothic
- Misunderstood
Then, we picked one of these words and had to dress a person in paper clothes and items to reflect this word, so we ended up giving Cameron a hat, glasses, bowtie and a balloon...
