This module has introduced me to a lot of different terms and skills.
I have developed my knowledge within graphic design a lot further during the sessions, from learning about anamorphic type to negative space during the early tasks, to constructing my own book using the skills I have gained throughout the module. It has been challenging in places, and pushed me out of my comfort zone at points. In retrospect I could have been a bit more efficient with keeping up with my blog posts for certain study tasks and sessions but on the whole I think I managed my time well and kept mostly on top of my work. I have learned a lot of useful things that can now be applied to briefs this year and the next, taking my skills further and trying to develop them even more.
Creating my own book was an enjoyable brief as it was quite open and you could choose the content and how you would go about it yourself, whilst applying knowledge and skills you have learned in previous sessions. I tried to express my own style creatively throughout the brief whilst baring in mind design choices that would be suitable. I've never bound my own book before so this was a new experience, even though if I could do it again I would try and do a better job of stitching it! However overall I feel my choices were appropriate for the audience/purpose, and it had an eco-friendly look. I've enjoyed each of the tasks for this module.
