These are some of my scans that I will be manipulating and using in my zine for the brief. I chose to use a bright coloured turquoise/green, but I just wanted it bright enough to change the colour easily. I used brusho and different size paintbrushes and sponges to create these. I also wrote out the titles of the spreads in my zine with brusho. If the word doesn't go as I wanted it to, I rewrite it so I have more choice of letters. This is more time consuming than just doing an alphabet however the reason I enjoy doing it this way is that every letter looks different instead of just repeating the same ones. This wouldn't work for body copy but because I am only doing small titles I didn't mind writing them out individually.
