OUGD505 / STUDIO BRIEF 02 / ILLUSTRATION EXPERIMENTS

For the menu and possibly for the greaseproof paper, I decided to draw out some vegetables that can be used as a pattern or just illustrations in general which reinforce core values such as how the company is plant based and healthy.

I drew these designs on paper, scanned them in and used the pen tool and the brush tool to make them smooth:

In retrospect these are too childish, and not as geometric as I would have liked. I took the more productive option and stopped developing them when I knew they were not going to work. I think that I should stick to the patterns I have already developed which are simply made up of elements of the logo than try and make this idea work.

However they were a fun development.
