Upon speaking with my tutor it was said that the idea is strong and unique, and could be realistically developed into something on a mass scale which can adhere to anyones personal taste in food, even if it is vegan. He suggested that taste should come first, and the veganism aspect should come next, and to hold off on the harsh information at first, only when the audience become more involved. The first thing that should draw the consumers in should be the brand's identity and the actual food. After asking Danny's advice, I would like to present my ideas in the form of a proposal pitch. This will include deliverables such as totes & tshirts, styleguide, poster series, menus and guidelines for patterns, colours and logos.
Essentially, I am not doing a rebrand, this is a new product which in context would be presented to a team who can buy into it and create a franchise. It would need investors and money to be able to develop this into a popular fast food company which would compete against food giants such as McDonalds & Subway. The most appropriate way to sell this product is not only through incorporating ideas around veganism, but promoting the brand as a location to buy delicious food, and the environmental, ethical & health benefits come afterwards; not that these should not be highlighted throughout.
The pack must sell the idea to potential investors and demonstrate that there is a real gap in the market for this idea.
