OUGD505 / STUDIO BRIEF 02 / REFLECTION

In a previous module, I created branding for a vegan clothing company on kickstarter by the name of Chonaic. I feel this has helped me develop my skills in this area, and gain a knowledge of what could transform veganism into a contemporary setting and reflect the new ideologies of millenials who adopt a vegan lifestyle. In other words, the choice of colours and semiotics conveyed veganism in a new light, without using the overdone hippy aesthetic, such as tie dye and wobbly typefaces, or too much of an eco friendly look. The idea was to project the brand as a high fashion brand, and sell it as a brand firstly. This is the same principles that I will be taking forward for Erdenbürger.



I feel as though this was a good starting point that I can further develop into this brief. I feel the colour palette especially works strongly. The use of green is apparent in almost every vegan brand, however the bright RGB green communicates a modern aesthetic and vibrant feel.
