When I mocked up my leaflet on A3, I had positioned some pages upside down by mistake, so I needed to ensure that the pages would be facing the right way up for my final product.
I decided to print on matte paper so the black underside looked professional and slick and I felt matte would be the best finish to display the textures on my leaflet as well.
After printing I cut the leaflet down however since I'm useless at cutting paper apparently, I cut too much off the front part:
Here you can see the size of my leaflet while it is standing. If I had time to do this brief again I would consider using less pages to make sure that my leaflet is a little bit bigger. You can read the text on it relatively comfortably however I do feel like it could be deemed as bordering on too small. The plus side is that the leaflet is very portable and pocketsize.
Since I used solid ink on the back, the stock is pretty saturated with it, and seems to dip inwards where the ink has weighed it down which is a small problem as I was hoping for the structure to stand strong. The overall look of the leaflet standing is not bad though and ultimately I am pleased with what I produced for this week long brief.
I feel I have appropriately resolved the brief and it's been fun to print and produce.
