OUGD504 / STUDIO BRIEF 02 / ARTBOARDS

I find it much more productive whilst working on Illustrator, to use artboards as a kind of 'sketchbook' for ideas. This worked effectively for this brief, as whilst I worked on the ideas, I considered the deliverables I would have to create for the brief as well. In my case these will be appropriate to a fashion brand, for example, a magazine cover, a shopping bag or a poster. 

I used images of a model (here & here) from a clothing website called Des Rosiers which I found browsing Tumblr. Since there was no images of models wearing clothes on the Chonaic Kickstarter page, I felt I would have to improvise. Putting these images on my artboards gave me a better feel for the vibe I was going for for the brand. 

I now need to firmly choose a specific logo to run with and develop further.
