OUGD504 / STUDIO BRIEF 02 / DELIVERABLES

When creating brand identity, it's important that the logo is versatile and can be used on a number of platforms. Here I need to demonstrate various ways the logo can be used both online and physically.

Lookbook/magazine:

Here I have demonstrated using the logo for the cover of a Lookbook especially for the Chonaic brand. A lookbook is designed to show the brand's clothing using models and photography. A lot of popular brands use this method to advertise how their clothes can look and set a tone for the overall representation of the brand.

Website:

Here I have shown how the logo can work on a website. I have designed this with contemporary conventions in mind to match the feel of the logo. I wanted to give a modern feel to bring the vegan side of the brand into popular culture/fashion today, and by creating a website that is visually pleasing and in trend, it will give the user a satisfying experience and appeal to the target market. I have used colours set in my logo for the website to keep it consistent and matching.

Since Chonaic is a mainly male brand at the moment I decided to use male models but not restrict the brand here, and add a Women's section in order to prevent neglecting one gender.

Tote Bags:

Since it is very difficult to get a luminous green effect from inkjet / laserprinting, screen printing was a great choice as it is much easier to achieve the desired neon colour, and you have the option of printing this onto paper or textiles, in this case, the design was printed onto a tote bag. A tote bag is an effective way of advertising the brand and also looks attractive, stylish and is functional as well.

Above you can see the tote bag being used in a live setting as to not fully rely on digital mock ups and have a physical element to submit.
