On friday it was useful to get some feedback on my work and see how effective other people found it. After developing a lot of ideas, I was finding it quite difficult to pick one solid idea and run with it and develop it further.
During feedback it was said that I had utilised colour well, as it was so bright and vibrant it adds a fun nature to the logos. Along with this, the logos themselves were said to be effective and relevant to the brand. I also was informed that my work appeals to the target audience well, and even appeals to those who aren't necessarily vegan; something I had taken into consideration throughout the brief. I wanted to be able to communicate a more sophisticated angle of veganism, and not sound preachy as I did not want to put anyone off the brand.
Taking cost into consideration, it was suggested that I could either screenprint, achieving the luminous green shade, or print on very bright green stock to interject colour more easily.
Some ideas that were suggested to me was trying the eye logo with a triangular pupil. Although I liked the sound of this idea I was hesitant to try it out as I thought it may just resemble the Illuminati. Someone also suggested putting eyelashes on the larger circles around the text however again, I liked the suggestion but I didn't feel as though this would look like an eye, rather a circle with some strokes on it.
