OUGD503 / STUDIO BRIEF 02 / SOCIAL MEDIA

In order to integrate the app into a wide audience's everyday life, the app would collaborate with various tech giants, implementing the app onto the platforms. The information displayed would be catered to the user's customise options from within the app, therefore a simple log in would bring up potentially interesting news stories just for them.

I created several examples of how we can incorporate our application into social media giants.

The first option is Twitter. Twitter is a profoundly popular app in this day and age, appealing to those with a voice and an opinion. Twitter and Your Telegraph in this way go hand in hand, our app promotes the expression of its members through responses which can be shared via social media too. Here you can see the integrated Your Telegraph section on the mobile twitter home page. This should come up either at the top of the page continuously, so it can always be found, or laced throughout tweets to keep the app on the users mind and have an easy access point for articles of their interests, or to ensure they dont miss out on stories.

The same principles are attached to this example on linked in. Having this feature allows the users of linked in to find out about current affairs regarding business in this example.

Another example of the app being integrated into Facebook, a social media app which almost everyone interacts with on a daily basis. These three images clearly show a wide range of audiences who can all engage with our app in different ways. Everyone is personal and has their own interests, the aim of the app is to make the user's experience all about them and what they're personally interested in, and incorporating that into a wider platform by affiliation with large companies such as these examples, and to get them to effectively return to the app and engage with it.
